about

Tom Adams, the guy behind The Mountaineering Club and the Mountaineering Club Orchestra approached me and asked me if I wanted to do a remix of one of the tracks of the 'A Start On Such Night Is Full Of Promise' record. I was honored and immediately went to work and a bit later, here we are.

I had loads of fun doing this remix, especially considering I don't care much for remixes and I normally don't do them. However, I've known Tom for a long time and I surely didn't mind making an exception for him because I really wanted to work with this specific track and I've always had a great deal of respect for him as an artist.

I wanted to make this track even more dramatic than it was, it's one of the reasons I choose this track, because the strings really lend themselves to achieve that effect. The theme is simple, yet effective.
Anyways, yeah, it was good fun!
